Time Flies

So it has only been five months (or so) since we have updated our blog. We are thinking we will try and update more often, but one never knows. Facebook and busy lives are partly to blame. Aimee and I both joined Facebook about the same time we quite blogging with regularity (not that we were ever that diligent). So most of our social networking needs were met with Facebook. Neither of us is a Facebook fanatic, but with the ability to Facebook on our phones it is easy and convenient. Our lives, like everyone elses' lives are busy.

We have arrived at summer, and now have a little more time to devote to these things. Hopefully we will stay on top of it.

We are headed off tomorrow for the great Family Camp adventure. Every year for the past past six years we have gone camping with friends and family at Shaver Lake. We will leave tomorrow for 7 nights of fun, dirt, and hopefully cooler temps. We spend hours everyday at the lake, take hikes, bike rides, and other adventures. We have a great time with people we really like (oddly at least half the people are our neighboors, but we just can't get enough of them). Of course the kids love the week. There are something like 30 kids that will be at the camp. I love it as well. Aimee lovingly tolerates the dirt and less than first world amenities.

We'll post when we return, I think, but I can not know for sure.

So much for New Years Resolutions

Okay, so we thought we were going to keep the blog totally up to date this year. That lasted exactly one post. Oh well, better than the six weeks it took us to update on our old blog. So I can give you the excuses; busy, went back to work and school, Matt joined Facebook, etc, but really who cares about those excuses. We are back at work and school, and the structure of getting back to a routine is helpful. And heck, before long it will be April and Spring Break will be here.

So here is to a new years resolution already broken and hopefully one that is renewed tonight as I write this.

Benny got his CTR ring this week at church, actually as the picture shows he got his and his sister's ring. He was very excited to wear his rings for the first time. I think he had already lost it by Monday. CTR stands for "choose the right," helpful little reminder for all 4 year old boys who like to make their sisters crazy.

We have moved

So a new year means new years resolutions. Along with the mandatory weight loss and attend the temple more often goals we decided that keeping our blog current would also be a worthwhile goal. We have been very hot and cold with maintaining our blog, okay so we have been mostly cold. We have decided to change to a new blog site. Seems like everyone uses blogger so we thought we might as well join. While we liked the Apple site for some reasons we decided that blogger was nice because it allows us to update from any computer. This way Aimee can do it from work! So lets hope that this is a new years resolution that we keep.
